Hobbs Jewelers is proud to have one of the most technologically advanced gemology labs in Northern Alabama. Our staff gemologist and lab supervisor, Kendra B. Hobbs, is a graduate from the Gemological Institute of American. Kendra uses her comprehensive gemological knowledge to hand-select our diamonds and colored gemstones.

Hobbs Jewelers has the latest technology available, such as a GIA calibrated microscope, colorimeter and proportion scope, to aid Kendra in diamond grading and gemstone identification. Appraisal services are available through our lab. Hobbs Jewelers believes in continuing education and using the most up-to-date lab equipment to provide the best service and quality to our customers.
